Daniel Marshall - An asthmatic's charity feat

Daniel Marshall is 21 years old and suffers from extreme asthma. His goal was to take part in the 26 mile Southend Bikeathon bike ride and to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

Top Fundraiser Daniel Marshall*The day before the race, Daniel Marshall was in Southend hospital with breathing problems and had been advised not to take part in the Southend Bikeathon.

Overcoming his own doubts, Daniel, of Queens Road, Rayleigh, finished the Southend Bikeathon ride in one hour and 42 minutes.

He said "I didn't think I'd be able to do it. But when I started riding, I felt fine."

To date Daniel Marshall has raised £400 for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
